Apple releases iTunes 11.0.1 to address iCloud, performance issues
Solomon Watts December 13, 2012Shortly after the release of Apple’s next generation multimedia management software, iTunes, Apple has released iTunes 11.0.1 to address a few commonly reported issues.
The update includes fixes for the AirPlay button disappearance issue, an iCloud library glitch that prevented items from properly appearing in local user libraries, and overall performance updates for users with large libraries. The update also includes the ability to find and remove duplicate items from libraries, a feature that was lost during the transition between iTunes 10 and 11.
iTunes 11.0.1 is available for download via the Mac App Store Software Update tab, and the Apple Software Updater for Windows.
